Travel Trailer Rental

Peak Season - June 1st to September 30th 

We are currently booking for a 7 night minimum  (after June 1st we accept minimum 3 night reservations)

Shoulder Season – October 1st to May 31st – 4 night minimum.

We are closed Sundays and Mondays

 

RESERVATION & FEES

A non- refundable $300 deposit is required to reserve your travel trailer.

Preparation Fee: $75 included first tank of propane, consumable supplies including holding tank chemicals and potable water fill and preparing your unit. (all rentals)

Service Fee: $98 covers the walk around, assistance in hooking up self tows and covering minimum local delivery charges. (all rentals)

Tanks Dumped: - $35 (Refunded if you dump)

Any delivery outside of 15km the charge is $1.50 / km plus ferry and standby charges.

 

DELIVERED TRAILERS

No deliveries/pickups on Sundays or Holidays

Comox Valley RV maintains liability coverage on all their rental trailers to a maximum of $5,000,000 for any bodily injury and property damage liability claims arising from the operation or use of it’s rental vehicles. Premiums for this basic public liability coverage are included in all rental rates, which also includes premiums for collision insurance and comprehensive insurance with a deductible of $2,000 per occurrence. In the event of loss or damage to vehicle while on rental, whether or not due to the fault of the rental customer, the customer’s responsibility for direct and accidental loss or damage is limited to a maximum of $2,000 per occurrence. There is no limit however if the rental trailer incurs loss or damage not covered by insurance as outlined in Terms and Conditions. 

 

SELF TOW TRAILERS

Self-Tow Trailers for BC Residents Only: Self towed trailers require an ICBC RoadStar Package or Rental Vehicle Policy APV281L. 

All self-towed units require a suitable tow vehicle, hitch, wiring and a 7 pin brake controller. The tow vehicle must also be suitable to handle the weight of the trailer requested. Please ensure your equipment is working in advance of pickup

The minimum coverage is as follows: Collision and Comprehension - Maximum $500 Deductible, $2,000,000. Liability Coverage on the towing vehicle and - $1,000,000. on the rental trailer.

 

STANDARD EQUIPMENT

Water hose, sewer hose, toilet chemicals, 2 rolls of toilet paper, rubber gloves, spare fuses, initial propane fill, garbage can, broom, dust pan, dish soap, all purpose cleaner.

 

RENTAL EXTRAS

Gear Package: $150.00 - Includes: Set of pots, Kettle, Toaster, Coffee maker, Cutting board, Strainer, Garbage can, dishes and cutlery for 4 individuals depending size of trailer, 2 serving platters, 2 large serving bowls, 1 mixing bowl, 2 tea towels & 2 dish clothes, Oven mitt, Wine opener, Bottle & can opener, Potato peeler, Tongs, flippers, straining spoon, Whisk, Salad serving fork and spoon, Measuring cup, Cheese grader, knives, Dish Soap, Plastic Table Cloth, Broom/Dustpan, Garbage can, 2 rolls toilet paper, Holding tank chemicals, 2 Chairs and an Entry Mat.

Personal Convenience Kit: $95 – Includes sleeping bag, pillow with pillow case, 1 bath towel, 2 hand towel and 2 face clothes. You may require one kit for each person travelling.

Pet Fee: $100

EQ/Stablizer Hitch: $100

Lawn Chair: $10 each

Toaster: $12 each

Electric Coffee Maker: $10 each

 

SECURITY DEPOSIT & RENTAL PAYMENT

A security deposit is required at the time of departure. An amount equal to $2,000 or the value of the deductible whichever is greater. The amount is to be pre-authorized on a major credit card.

The rental payment in full is required 30 days prior to the date of pick up.

INSURANCE

Comox Valley RV maintains liability coverage on all its rental vehicles to a maximum of $5,000,000.00 for any bodily injury and property damage liability claims arising from the operation or use of its rental vehicles, provided all safety instructions as recommended by Comox Valley RV Ltd have been followed. Premiums for this Basic public liability coverage are included in all rental rates, which also include premiums for collision insurance and comprehensive insurance.

Please review Terms and Conditions applicable to Rental Agreement. Collision Deductible Reduction and Collision Deductible Waiver agreements are available and subject to the express terms of this rental contract and are null and void if any of the terms of the rental agreement are breached.

 Collision Deductible Reducer CDR for travel trailer rentals is available for $20.00 per day to a maximum of $200.00 per rental. Optional CDR reduces the renter’s responsibility for damages from $2,000.00 to $500.00 per occurrence Comox Valley RV reserves the right to block or pre-authorise the full deductible amount of $2,000 on the customer’s credit card

 

CANCELLATION & FINAL PAYMENT

Full refund within 24 hours of booking.

The initial deposit plus tax is non-refundable after the 24 hour grace period. $300 for travel trailers and $500 for motorhomes.

Final payment is due 30 days prior to date of pick up. No refunds 30 days prior to pick up.
